At SJSH, registration for the upcoming school year follows a staged process:
- Students presently enrolled
- Siblings of currently enrolled students
- Children of alumni
- Students on the waitlist
Because class sizes are strictly controlled and most students remain for many years, the number of seats available for new students is limited. We strongly encourage families to place their child’s name on the SJSH waitlist as early as possible.
At SJSH, tuition varies because of our commitment to maintaining a high teacher-to-student ratio and offering low-ratio classes where needed. Unlike many schools, our tuition is not determined by grade level but rather by the individual needs of each student. This ensures that every child receives the right level of support to thrive academically and personally. Criteria for Admission
- The student is academically capable of achieving within a grade-appropriate program.
- The student demonstrates good moral character and conduct.
- The student maintains the standard of good citizenship.
- The student is sincere in their desire to improve academically.
- The student’s parents support and promote the philosophies, standards, policies, staff, and decisions of SJSH.

- complete all assigned tasks to the best of their ability
- accept responsibility for their choices and actions
- strive to meet or exceed their academic potential

The Admission Process
The admissions process at SJSH begins with a phone call to our office at 519-888-6620 to schedule a tour and meeting with our team. Appointments are available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Following the meeting, families may apply to the waitlist. To join the waitlist, a Request Form, a Referral Form completed by a current educator, and a copy of the most recent report card must be submitted, along with a non-refundable $100 fee (credited toward tuition if the student enrolls). Once a space becomes available, families on the waitlist will be contacted. Please note that registration is completed in stages each school year: first to current families, then to siblings of current students and children of alumni, and finally to those on the waitlist. Spots are limited, as most of our students remain with SJSH year after year.
